This day was set up in 2020 by the Chairty – A Child of Mine. The day was set up after the charity acknowledged the lack of support for bereaved parents.
The aim of the day is to remove the taboo of children dying and uniting parents who are suffering from the loss of a child. This will allow us all to acknowledge, support and help those affected through conversations, fund raising and meetings.
Although, the day is specified to raise awareness there are numerous events going on throughout the year that you can organise, support or participate in.
To join in please light a candle at 7pm on 3rd July to remember all of those children and babies that have gone too soon and remember the parents and families going through this tragic time.
