1 in 10 MILLION people have chronic kidney disease (CKD) in the UK alone!!

Anyone can develop CKD. However, there are some things that can increase the risk such as diabetes, high blood pressure and family history of kidney disease just to name a few.

How to reduce your risk of CKD

  • Quit smoking
  • Reduce your alcohol intake
  • 30 minutes of exercise a day
  • Staying a healthy weight
  • Be cautious taking anti inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen
