A short walk, a long walk, a jog…a small form of exercise can increase your mood and better your mental health issues. Although a lot of people struggle to motivate themselves to move the benefits of movement are massive.
How to motivate yourself…
- Plan a walk and catch up with friends and family
- Walk to work or School
- If School and work are too far away, plan your route to use public transport and some walking
- Go to gym sessions instead of just the gym
- Go swimming
- Set yourself targets. Such as, distances or weight loss
