Blood pressure test – NHS (www.nhs.uk)

Blood pressure readings are not generally noted as a one off reading and different factors, other health issues or medication can have an affect on your BP. Due to this BP’s are usually done 2-3 times at least twice a day which will then help clinicians and yourself to find the average blood pressure reading and to be able to action further should this be required.

If your BP seems to be higher or lower your Surgery may ask you to do your BP readings for 1 week before seeking any further action.
